Most Beautiful Girl in Ireland

Hi guys,

So as many of you know I attended the Most Beautiful Girl in Ireland competition in Dublin last on behalf of Suzzie D Model Management. The event was on Sunday 24th April in the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel. The day was full of glamour, beauty and fun from start to finish!

I blogged about this event several weeks ago which gave women across Ireland the chance to enter the competition in pursuit of their modelling aspirations. It was open to women from 18-34 across the country and out 100 girls, 12 were shortlisted to compete in the Grand Final.
My good frined Suzzie, owner and creator of Suzzie D Model Management offered me the chance to attend the event and form part of the judging panel. Of course I jumped at the opportunity and could not wait to attend!
First thing I needed to do? Organise my outfit!

I picked up this dress in River Island a few weeks ago for jsut €35 on sale! It is a baby pink off the shoulder midi dress with gathered detailing at the top. It was very comfortable and elegant. I paired it with my trusted white pointed heels from Penneys that were €19.
Hair and makeup was done by yours truly using the SOSU Complete Contour Palette and mt favourite, the Pippa Palette. I used Sally Hansen tan in 'Deep Glow' which gave me a golden tan that lasted the day, love it!

The event kicked off at 8pm and the contestants were eagerly awaiting to start. There was a bikini round, evening wear, talent and a question and answer to finish. EAch contestant looked stunning and exhibited amazing talents, I was blown away! How could we choose just one winner out of all of these women? It was a tough process but as we combined our comments and scores, our winner, 1st runner up and 2nd runner up became clear!
This was followed by the awards ceremony. Each contestant was gifted with their medals while our three winners received flowers, sashes and trophy to mark their achievements!

Congratulations to Lydia Everett who was crowned the Most Beautiful Girl in Ireland and to our runners up Shauna Johnstone and Kerrie O'Brien. Congratulations to all of the contestants on the night, each and every one of you were fantastic!
I am going to include some pictures of the event here to show you just some of the highlights of the night!
