Fashion Show Fundraiser - What I Wore

Hi guys,

I hope you are all well and have a lovely weekend!
As many of you know through my social media, I attended a Fashion Show fundraiser event last Friday night in Ennis. It was in aid of a friend of mine travelling to Thailand next Summer to volunteer and teach children in schools and orphanages. I was asked to host the event and of course, I jumped at the opportunity!

The Runway

A quick read over my lines!

There were many shops and businesses supporting us on the night with local boutiques and clothes shops providing the looks on the night. Without a doubt the fashion and style in Ennis is outstanding and I spotted a few pieces that I loved from shops I would not usually visit. That has changed now ;)
The whole evening went off very well and I loved hosting it! It was something out of my comfort zone completely but I am so glad I did it and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Anyway, a lot of people wrote to me asking me about my outfit and where I bought everything. Perfect excuse for a blog post!
Here are the details:

Skirt: This floral printed skirt is from H&M. I picked this up last week in the Crescent for €24.99. I love the pattern and the best part, it has pockets!! This adds a casual element to the skirt which totally suits my style!

Shirt: This plain black shirt with pocket detailing is from Penneys. It is currently in stock for €13 and available in ivory, black and khaki! A cream or ivory top would work just as well with this skirt as the black.

Shoes: These white pointed heels are also from Penneys and a bargain at €19. I received lods of compliments about my shoes on the night! People were shocked when I said they were Penneys ;)

Necklace: €3 in Penneys!

I snapchatted this necklace the day I bought it as it was on sale for €3 and went perfectly with the outfit :)

There you have it! My entire outfit from the fashion show. It was very comfortable and the shirt added a casual feel to the look. I will definitely be wearing this out again!

Thanks for reading guys!
Leah xx
