Woman's World Exhibition 2015

Hi everyone!
Today's post is a little bit different. Last Friday, I was lucky enough to attend the Woman's World exhibition 2015 in the RDS in Dublin. This is a major event held every year to celebrate and embrace our women.

It is a chance to get pampered, try new beauty products, jewellery and also shoes ;) There is also food and drinks available to taste and an atmosphere that is electric! Lots of beauty, fashion and lifestyle experts were there on the day and I had the chance to chat to a lot of these women.
I attended the event particularly for the fashion show which is the main part of the event. With shows held every hour on the hour, the stunning models this year  were from Suzzie D Model Management, who are a modelling company based in Limerick.
I got the chance to go backstage at the fashion show and really catch a glimpse of the goings on at a fashion show and see for myself what happens behind the curtain.
There were four female models representing the company today Danilly, Nell, Julia and Michelle. Each just as friendly as each other , I felt right at home when talking to them and the team of makeup artists, hair stylists and the model company owner and former model, Suzzie.

The room was filled with beautiful clothes, shoes, makeup and accessories (a fashion bloggers dream;)) and four models ready to take the stage with a little help from makeup artists from Vanity X makeup, based in Dublin.
I got chatting to the models and wanted to know more about there style, fashion influences and where they love to shop. TK Max, Zara and H&M were fi favourites for the girls and I couldn't agree more ;)
Makeup artist Olivia Murphy from Vanity X even listed Penneys as a favourite, just like myself ;) We also agreed that Missguided was a go to place to keep up with latest trends at an affordable price.

The girls today wore clothes from Wallis, a chic store stocking beautiful pieces, at brilliant prices. There were different looks modelled by the girls today including monochrome, tropical, lace, black and white, 70's style andactive wear. Each outfit as stunning and impeccable as the next:

Each look was just fabulous and the girls did an amazing job! Their confidence shone through on the catwalk which is something that company owner Suzzie says is key for models on this industry. Having modelled herself for 11 years, Suzzie has more than enough experience on the catwalk and knows what real hard work is.
She set up this company over 6 months ago and has been hugely successful ever since. She said that setting up this business allows her to see what the other side of  this job entails, no longer being the model, she is the boss. The key to success, she identifies, is being humble something which  is extremely important in the fashion and modelling industry and to always 'be yourself'.
This is the same when it comes to finding your own style and becoming comfortable with your fashion sense and sense of self. 'No matter where you go in the world, no one is you' says Suzzie when I asked her advice for young women in finding and developing a style that represents them individually. To not copy anyone or always feel to be on top of every trend. Rather, being you and knowing what you love.
This is evidently a philosophy she believes as she describes her own style as unique, chic and classy.

I predict great things for Suzzie and her models in the future. There are currently 11 models, with room for more in the not too distant future ;)

Thanks for reading guys, I hope ye enjoyed it as much I did :)
